Who We Are

Empowering People
to Protect Nature.

Founded in 1988 as Vidyanagar Nature Club, Voluntary Nature Conservancy (VNC) is a volunteer-driven non-profit working for environment education and wildlife conservation across India. For more than three decades, we’ve been nurturing awareness, building knowledge, and inspiring action for a sustainable future.

Our work spans three key areas — Environment Education, Research & Conservation, and Awareness & Advocacy. Through grassroots engagement and scientific initiatives, we empower communities to protect natural habitats, foster coexistence, and champion responsible stewardship of our planet.

Three Pillars of Impact

Environment Education

We believe awareness is the first step toward conservation. Through interactive workshops, nature camps, school programs, and community outreach, we help people of all ages discover the importance of preserving our environment. By nurturing curiosity and responsibility, VNC builds future generations that care deeply for nature.

Awareness & Advocacy

VNC amplifies the voice of nature by fostering informed dialogue and inspiring action. We collaborate with local communities, media, and institutions to raise awareness on pressing environmental issues and champion policies that encourage sustainable development. Together, we work to turn awareness into lasting change.
